Charging for a FFR computation for CTA done at another site

If a separate entity sends data to my site of a previously performed coronary CTA and then, at my site, we take this data and derive the Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), can we charge for the calculation of the FFR?

A.

Yes, you can submit Category III CPT® code 0503T. This code does not include performing the original CTA. This FFR computation is done on a previously obtained coronary CTA.
