If the documentation indicates that both arterial and venous duplex scans were performed of a lower extremity, may we assign both CPT^® code 93926 and 93971?

If you do true duplex scans of both the arterial and the venous systems, then you may assign both. Whether both will be paid will depend on medical necessity and the individual 3^rd party payor policy.
